Exede Analytics Browser Plugin
We have developed a plugin for the Chrome browser to monitor the actual load time for web pages. A plugin is an add-on for your browser that gives it a particular feature or functionality. If you agree to participate, you’ll simply install the plugin on your computer’s browser. The plugin will be available from the Chrome Web Store and will work with both PCs and Macs.
 
Once installed, the browser plugin will monitor how long it takes for the web pages that you visit to fully load and will report this information back to ViaSat. This will help us identify performance issues and provide more information about web pages on the Exede network that are not being delivered as fast as we would like.
 
The browser plugin will not speed up or slow down your access to the web pages you visit. It will work invisibly in the background. There is nothing you need to do once it is installed.
 
Your privacy
The browser plugin will not store, collect or transfer your personally identifiable information.  Other than identifying the fully qualified domain name of the web pages you visit (e.g. Shoes.Amazon.com, not Shoes.Amazon.com/Nike), the data we collect is technical information for our use in monitoring and improving the performance of our network.
